A business analyst is an individual who analyses a business domain or company and documents its business systems, processes, or technologies, analyzing the company’s entire business infrastructure or application, checking the business model’s compatibility with technology or data analysis. The analyst also provides recommendations for improvements, which can be implemented by the company. Business Analyst plays a significant role in assisting companies in the growth of its markets, as the analysis presented by an analyst helps the companies in identifying the right business opportunities, planning and devising a strategy for growth. An individual can become a business analyst by taking a bachelor’s degree program on business. Most of these programs are provided by schools or universities. After completion of business-related courses, one has to undergo internship training.

As part of the responsibilities of a business analyst, he/she has to go through and collect information from business processes and activities of a company, which include customer, supplier, and organizational relationships. Analysts also have to create marketing strategies, implement quality measures, and improve financial performance.
